One of the great things about the Puget Sound area is the opportunity for great sailing, and sailing is a good way to meet people, especially with an affordable opportunity like Seattle Singles Yacht Club:
“The SSYC meets every Monday evening (except on holidays) at the Shilshole Bay Beach Club near West Marine and Shilshole Marina. Casual members pay $7.00 at the door for entry.
“While there is a nominal charge to attend our weekly meetings and monthly dances, you will never be asked to pay for a boat ride. SSYC is a nonprofit organization where single adults enjoy boating and other social activities.
SSYC is a place where skippers find crew, and people who want to become crew find boats to crew on. All levels are welcome, from experienced boat owners, novice crew eager to learn, and every skill level in-between. Boats owned by SSYC skippers include a variety of sailboats, catamarans and powerboats.”
